Common Questions

For registration purposes, how do you determine what a household is?
A household includes parents and children that live within the same house. Each household that registers will require their own campsite. If a household has additional adults staying with them that do not live in their home, these additional adults will be charged a specified rate and are NOT included in the maximum household rate.
Does everyone who registers need to volunteer in some capacity?
Yes – it takes a lot of people to make an event like this successful. All attendees will be assigned to a “tribe” once they register. These tribes will then be assigned to different tasks throughout the week (meals, grounds maintenance, etc.). Aside from the tribal duties, attendees are asked to sign up for additional volunteer positions when they register, such as: Camp Set Up and/or Tear Down, Sukkot Watchmen, Facility Upkeep Leader, Meal Leader, and/or Daily Activities Coordinator.
What time is check-in?
Full week: Check-in begins on Monday, October 6 at 9:00 AM.

Partial week: Check-in begins on Friday, October 10 at 9:00 AM. Please be sure you are finished setting up by sunset.
Can I reserve a specific campsite?
Sites will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can I park my car/truck at my campsite?
You can park just off the road by your campsite. No driving through the campsites.
What are the campsites like?
There are open fields with space designated for tents or RVs.

Click here for a camp map.
What kind of electricity will we have?
RV’s: There will be plug-ins for 20-amp extension cords.

Tents: Bring several 15-amp extension cords, at least 100’ of cord. You will not be able to run electric heaters or AC but this will work for crockpots and coffee pots.

Please note: If using propane heater, a CO2 detector/alarm will be required.
Will we have a place to plug in crockpots?
In addition to the electrical plug-in at your camp site, there will be electricity in the building where we will eat meals.
Will food be provided?
One corporate meal (dinner) is included in the cost of your stay on non-Shabbat days (Oct. 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13).

We will have a potluck-style Oneg on the High Holy Days (Oct. 7 & 14) and weekly Sabbath (Oct. 11). Every family is expected to bring a meal item to share.
Can we have campfires? And if so, what about firewood?
Campfires are allowed but must be contained. (Fire rings will NOT be provided. If you want a campfire, you will need to bring one.) Campfires always need to be attended to or extinguished when not in use.

Firewood will be available onsite without cost. No cutting branches from trees is allowed.
Will there be showers & bathrooms?
Portable toilets will be brought in and placed throughout the grounds. A shower house will also be available.
Where will we meet for corporate gatherings?
There is a building we will use for worship services, mealtimes, and other corporate gatherings. You do not need chairs for the corporate gatherings but will want to bring some for your campsite.
Will there be a safety team on site?
If we get enough volunteers to serve as Sukkot Watchmen, we’ll be able to post people at the gate as well as keep an eye on the facility grounds. However, until that happens, we ask that if you see anything that raises questions, say something to a member of the Sukkot Committee (Sammy/Luke Murphy, Dan Tousignant, Tim/Anna Kerr, Roland/Denise Ostendorf, Brett Holmen or Marcia Schnaidt).
Do I have to pay if I'm just going to attend the Sabbath services?
No, the worship services on the High Holy Days (Oct. 7 & 14) and the weekly Sabbath (Oct. 11) are open to the public. (There will NOT be a service at the church building on those days.) Also note, these services will NOT be available on live stream.
What is the Subsplash chat group: Sukkot 2025?
Everyone who registers will be added to Sukkot 2025 Chat Group on the CFM app. You need to be logged into the app in order to participate. It’s a great place to connect with other campers or ask questions.
What if an online member or someone outside our local community asks about attending?
Please have them contact the church office at (763) 210-3888 or info@cornerfringe.com.

Due to the safety concerns for our children, we do not openly promote our corporate Sukkot. When online members show an interest in attending, we review each request on an individual basis. They will complete a questionnaire and speak with one of our Deacon Delegates.
What time is check-out?
Everyone will need to be checked out by Wednesday, October 15 at 11:00 AM.
