We Believe...

Oh, how I love Your law!

Psalm 119:97

Our Statement of Faith

We are a first century Judeo-Christian Messianic congregation returning to the Jewish roots of the faith in the Messiah Yeshua through the Hebraic understanding of the scriptures. We follow the divinely inspired holy scriptures, commonly referred to as the Old and New Testaments, as God’s holy word for us to live by. We seek to understand the scriptures in the purest form possible, studying them from the Hebrew perspective and in the Hebrew and Greek languages in which they were written.

Elohim is the Hebrew word for God. God’s holy name as noted in the original Hebrew language is YHVH, usually translated as Lord or Adonai in most Bibles. His Son’s name is Yeshua, translated as Jesus in English. The Holy Spirit is known as the Ruach HaKodesh in Hebrew.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring the Good News of Yeshua to Jews and Gentiles, making disciples from all nations, teaching all to believe, repent and follow Him.

We Believe...

GOD

Trinity

SALVATION

The State of Man

We believe humanity was created in the image and likeness of God
30Genesis 1:27, 9:6
, but that our forefather Adam brought death into this world by sinning and we have all followed in his path
31Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22; 1 Kings 8:46
. Since then, we are all born with a sinful nature
32Psalm 51:7; Job 14:4; Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22; Romans 3:23; 1 John 3:4; 1 Kings 8:46
, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God
33Romans 3:22-25
. However, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life
34John 3:16
; the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in our Lord Jesus the Messiah
35Romans 6:23
. We can only be saved from this punishment by grace through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ
36Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Corinthians 15:20-23
.

Justification

We believe salvation is through Jesus alone, that we are saved by grace
37aka unmerited favor
through faith, and not by works
38Exodus 15:2, Isaiah 12:2, Isaiah 49:6, John 3:16-17, John 14:6, Acts 4:10-12, Acts 16:31, Romans 1:16, Romans 5:8-11, Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, 2 Timothy 2:10, Titus 2:10-14, Titus 3:4-7, Hebrews 9:28
, thereby reconciling us to God and saving us from wrath
39Romans 5:1, 9
.

We believe in order to become saved, we must confess that Jesus is Lord (YHVH) and believe in our hearts that the Father raised Him from the dead
40Romans 10:9-10, 13; Joel 2:32
.

We believe that through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Yeshua), and by the sealing of the Holy Spirit, we are grafted into the Cultivated Olive Tree
41Israel; the Church; the Elect
, thereby becoming citizens of the spiritual Commonwealth of Israel, being partakers of the covenants of promise
42Ephesians 2:11-19
.

Sanctification

We believe after we have accepted Jesus Christ (Yeshua) into our hearts, we enter a lifelong process of conforming to His image
43Romans 8:28-30
through humbly obeying His Word through the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in every believer
44John 14:15; Psalm 119:88; 2 Timothy 2:19; Deuteronomy 6:20-24
.

We believe the first obedient act that we are called to do in our sanctification is baptism, and through baptism, we are buried with Him, in which we were also raised with Him through faith
45Romans 6:1-14; Colossians 2:11-15; Matthew 28:19
.

We believe the Law is still valid and applicable for Christians under the New Covenant
46This includes the Festivals and Food laws
. The Law is holy, just, and good
47Deuteronomy 30:11-20; Romans 7:12; John 14:21; Psalm 19:7-11, 119:44-45; James 1:25, 2:12
and is not burdensome
48Deuteronomy 30:11-14; 1 John 5:3
. The Lord Jesus (Yeshua) makes it clear that the Law is eternal, as He has said in the following, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled."
49Psalm 111:7-8; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:17-20, 24:35; Luke 16:17, 21:33
.

Glorification

We believe if we endure until the end, we will be saved
50Matthew 10:22, 24:12-13; Mark 13:13; Luke 21:19
. The dead in Christ will sleep in the grave until the return of our Lord
511 Thessalonians 4:13-17; John 11:11-15; 1 Corinthians 15:17-23, 51-58
. At His return, we will be resurrected unto eternal life, our mortality will put on immortality
521 Corinthians 15:50-58
, and we will live with God forever and ever
53Daniel 12:2-3; John 5:24-29; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; 1 Corinthians 15:23-26; Revelation 20:4-6, 11-15; Isaiah 65:17-19; Revelation 21:1-4, 7, 22-27; Revelation 22:1-5, 14
.
